Following the introduction of the Leyland Lynx vehicles in April 1990 Midland Red West sold a number of surplus buses to Chesterfield Transport in July 1990. They were Leyland Nationals 398 (GOL398N), 365 (GFJ665N), 420 (GOL420N), 436 (GOL436N) and Leyland Leopards 336 (PHA336M), 341 (GJW41N), 352 (GOH352N) and 356 (GOH356N). 352 was only used for spares. The vehicles were used by Chesterfield Transport until the Company was taken over by Stagecoach in the mid-1990’s. All the pictures were taken in Chesterfield on a cold January Saturday morning in 1992.
