| The Redline Bus Company was the brainchild of Mick Elkins and Stan Pemberton who were at the time both bus inspectors with Midland Red West. Redline started running double decker buses in Redditch in October 1987. However by October 1989 the partnership had broken up. From 1st September 1990 Stan Pemberton started running as Redline once again but this time in Bromsgrove using minibuses. A total fleet of 5 minibuses were acquired numbered (fleet numbers 111-5). The operation stopped abruptly on 21st February 1989 due to staff shortages. |
